This is an advanced injection technique that allows the cheeks to be naturally enhanced and rejuvenated with dermal fillers. HOW CAN REJUVENATING THE CHEEKS GIVE ME A FACE LIFT?
One of the primary mechanisms of ageing is the loss of plumpness from the face. Typically volume is lost from the mid-face (cheeks) as we age giving us a more elderly, drawn out look. By carefully considering the anatomy this ageing process can be reversed by adding volume back into the cheeks. Th effect is to plump the face, improve sunken eyes and lift the loose soft tissues from around the face.

HOW DO YOU ENHANCE THE CHEEKS?
A new generation of harder, more structural dermal fillers is injected deep beneath the skin and muscle layers of the cheeks. This lifts the cheeks whilst preserving the natural balance and contours of the face.
HOW LONG WILL MY CHEEKS BE ENLARGED FOR?
Longevity in this area is excellent. The dermal fillers are in an area where there is very little movement and they lie protected deep beneath the muscle and skin layers of the cheeks. Fillers often persist for longer than 18 months in this area. In comparison a face lift or silicone implant often needs to be repeated every 5 years. It is the opinion of Kiora's doctors that the procedure often gives superior results to surgery whilst offering excellent longevity.
WHY SHOULD MY CHEEK ENHANCEMENT BE PERFORMED BY A QUALIFIED DOCTOR AT KIORA?
In response to a number of tragic and well publicised adverse cosmetic outcomes the Australian Medical Board Guidelines were changed on the 1st of October 2016. The law now requires all patients undergoing cosmetic procedures such as cheek enhancement and anti-wrinkle injections to be consulted personally by a qualified Doctor. A nurse-only consultation is illegal. At Kiora, to maximise safety and minimise the reaction time to unexpected events, all such procedures have always been performed personally by an experienced and qualified Cosmetic Doctor. We are proud we have always acted in the best interests of our patients and prioritised safety; preempting the Medical Board by over 10yrs.
ADVANCED COSMETIC INJECTION TECHNIQUES
The non-invasive cosmetic techniques pioneered for non-surgical rhinoplasties can be adapted to provide an alternative to cosmetic surgery in other areas. Both the nose and chin may all be reshaped with dermal fillers to give a more balanced, proportional look to the face. The calfs can be slimmed to give a more streamlined contour. Even severe sweating (hyperhidrosis) can be reduced by 90%. The longevity of these techniques is excellent and often exceeds 12 months.
