During teeth whitening processes such as Zoom Teeth Whitening, the Hydrogen Peroxide is activated and enters the enamel oxidising the embedded discolouration, destroying the stain and lightening your teeth. The structure of the tooth is not changed; the tooth enamel becomes a brighter and whiter shade but otherwise remains structurally intact.
