WHAT ARE DERMAL FILLERS? Dermal Fillers are clear, biodegradable gels based on substances naturally occurring in the human body. Because they are naturally found in human cells, Dermal Fillers are well tolerated and there is no need for allergy testing. Once injected, the gel plumps and lifts the skin gently to replace collagen loss caused by the natural aging process. Movement and sensation are not affected – your lips and skin will look and feel soft and natural. The effect can last between 6-18 months depending on the location treated and the filler used.
